The market
The Design Market Barcelona is the market for independent designers organized by the FAD (Fostering Arts and Design) every Christmas. In its 11th edition, the market for lovers of good design will be held on December 13, 14 and 18 and will change its location, which this time will be the Fira de Barcelona – Montjuïc.
The Design Market Barcelona will feature the best products and creations in fashion and complements, items for the home and for personal care, contemporary jewellery, handcrafted products, publications, graphic elements, furniture, illustration, lighting, limited-series artworks, toys and food products, among others. A comprehensive range carefully selected by a committee of experts comprising design professionals and members of the different FAD associations.
It is precisely this selection, undertaken under rigorous parameters in regard to the design and quality of the pieces, that makes this market so indispensable for all of those who are searching for proposals that differ from the traditional Christmas markets, thus reflecting the FAD’s commitment to stimulating creative excellence, promoting new generations of talent and bringing design to society.
Tickets
General admission to the Design Market Barcelona costs €4. For FAD members, children under 16 and pink card holders, admission is free.
At the entrance to the venue, there will also be the possibility of donating €1 for those affected by the DANA in Valencia.
