Prize-giving ceremony and party of the 11th edition of the ArtsFAD Awards for Artistic Creation, which seek to recognize art displaying a mastery of the craft’s materials and techniques.
This prize-giving ceremony will recognize artworks that stand out for the excellence of their concept, the quality of the material and their technical execution. In short, the 11th ArtsFAD Awards will recognize a suite of unique works without a function of use that reveal considerable knowledge of the craft.
A jury comprised of recognized professionals associated with the world of artistic creation will award three prizes to winners chosen from all the 38 shortlisted works. Beyond the open call, jury membes will announce three recognitions.
The jury for this staging will comprise Martí Peran, independent curator and art theoretician; Rosa Amorós, artist; Sonia Fernández Pan, (in)dependent curator; Alex Mitrani, art historian and curator at MNAC; and Maria Palau, art journalist.
