Design Market by FAD

After the success of previous editions, the Design Market is back as the benchmark market for lovers of good design in the city thanks to the quality of its exhibitors and its exceptional setting, the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Organized jointly by the different FAD associations, the Design Market attracts today’s best creators, new talent and the most relevant brands at the forefront of independent design through a painstaking selection undertaken by a committee of experts comprised of members of the five FAD associations: ADI-FAD, industrial design; ADG-FAD, graphic design; A-FAD, art and crafts; new MODA-FAD, fashion and complements; and ARQUIN-FAD, architecture and interior design.

It is in fact this selection, which is always undertaken under a set of rigorous parameters applied to the design and quality of the pieces, which transforms it into an indispensable market for all those who are looking for proposals that set them apart from the traditional Christmas markets, thus reflecting the FAD’s commitment to stimulating creative excellence, promoting the new generations of talent and bringing design to society.

Design, gastronomy and family activities

Those who attend the Design Market on 14, 15 and 16 December will find a broad selection of products: objects for the home and the person, fashion and complements, contemporary jewellery, artisan products, publications, graphic elements (posters, notebooks, calendars, vinyl stickers, etc.), furniture, illustration, lighting and limited-series artworks, among others.

The market will feature a gastronomic space and will also stage design-related workshops for young and old, making it very attractive for families.
